Counting the Cost of Homelessness.

During a single night in January, communities across the nation count the number of people experiencing homelessness. In January 2015, there were an estimated 564,708 people homeless.

Why do we have hundreds of thousands of people experiencing homelessness in the wealthiest and most powerful country?

“One Night in January: Counting the Cost of Homelessness,” is a feature length documentary film that examines the causes of homelessness and its cultural, social, and financial impact on society from the perspectives of social workers, educators, psychologists, lawmakers, and people experiencing homelessness.

Produced by RAZAR Films and written and directed by Stephen Newton, “One Night” is in production with a 2017 release date.
